Who We Are
The Cabin Company is the vision of Hastings-based Co-Owners Sean Sutherland and Tina Dellabarca.
Sean and Tina have had a long-held desire to provide better living spaces to Hawke’s Bay people. This is born from an ethical belief that people have a right to decent housing that is affordable, warm, dry, safe and secure.
With ever increasing living costs and a long-standing housing shortage, Sean and Tina have recognised that proper housing and accommodation is becoming increasingly unattainable for a growing number of people in the Hawke’s Bay community.
The pair believe that creative accommodation solutions are needed to meet the growing housing need, with modern, high-quality Cabins providing an affordable and accessible option for people and businesses.

Sean Sutherland
Sean has over two decades experience in many aspects of the building industry, including architectural design and detailing, building, joinery, property management and retail.
This provides a sound platform, appreciation and understanding of what makes a healthy home and living space.
Tina Dellabarca
Tina has worked in healthcare for 30 years. As a registered nurse she is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of those she encounters in her community.
Tina firmly believes in the health benefits of a well designed, insulated and ventilated living space and knows our cabins will deliver these benefits.
